Our asparagus preserves make great Mothers Day gifts and meal fixings!!  Asparagus pickles, come in dill & garlic or spicy flavors, are very versatile. They are delicious in everything from appetizers to salads or right out of the jar. The spicy spears are also delicious in Ceasars. Our asparagus relish is absolutely amazing and our frozen cream of asparagus soup is well worth trying. |
Our asparagus field May 5, 2010. No asparagus yet.  Very sorry, but we do not have any asparagus yet. We have had very snowy, cold weather. On the positive side, we have received lots of very badly needed moisture which will make the asparagus plants much stronger. Picture above to the right is on our path to the asparagus field and the picture to the left is of our asparagus field, both were taken on May 5. The asparagus is a perennial plant so those delicious tips are just sitting, waiting for a few frost free nights and warmer seasonal daytime temperatures, then we will be picking!! |
